A party whose claims have been fully satisfied may require the opponent to reimburse the costs of gathering evidence to a reasonable extent if they have played a significant role in the court’s decision in favour of the applicant.

To recover the legal costs of the detective, we recommend the following documents:

    ř the contract with the detective for the provision of services of a private investigation - it is necessary to detail the subject of a private investigation, so that the court does not have any doubts about the relationship of the contract with this case;
    •    Certificate of work performed - it should indicate the names of services and time spent on their provision. The list of works is indicated and coincides with the subject of the contract.  The courts often refuse to provide full reparation unless details of the services provided are provided. If the contract provides an hourly rate, it is recommended to provide reports on the billed actions to recover the full amount of costs;
    •    Payment orders, receipts or receipts. The fact of payment can be confirmed by various documents: payment orders, receipts, disbursement cash orders. In the payment order of the detective the object of payment must coincide with the subject of the contract and the list of works in the act of work performed.

If the successful party documents the relevance, proportionality and reasonableness of the legal costs, the claims for costs will be fully satisfied and the argument of inadmissibility of the collected evidence will not be accepted by the court.
