How can I view PDF files?
Answer
Due to the amount of graphic and tabular data contained in some of our brochures and products(e.g. Krioni Risk reports, Company Documents) certain versions are provided in PDF format. To view these you will need to have Adobe® Reader® installed on your PC.
Check if you have Adobe® Reader® installed – On your Windows taskbar, choose Start then go to Programs. If you have Adobe® Reader® installed, it should now show on your Program listing.
If you do not have Adobe® Reader® installed, it is available to download, for free, from the Adobe website. Select the icon below and follow the on-screen instructions.
Now select the PDF version of the product or document you require.
If the Adobe® Reader® does not automatically launch the first time round when your order a report you may need to manually associate the Adobe software with the PDF documents.
When you order a PDF report you will be prompted to "Open file from current location" or "Save this file to disk".
You may now be presented with the association window. Scroll through the list until you see the PDF (Portable Document Format) icon, then ensuring that the “always use this program” box is checked, double click it and the PDF document will appear on screen.
Checking the "always use this program" box will mean that your PC will automatically start the Adobe® Reader® when you select a PDF file, for a Krioni service or elsewhere. If you do not want to enable this facility, leave the box unchecked. This will mean you will simply have to select "Open file from current location" twice in a row for each PDF format report you order from Krioni.
